  5. Just some notes…

    1) I need to get here more often … your music choices are wonderful.

    2) I like that Ingrid Michaelson song “Maybe” … and whilst the sentiment is good … as April said … “the bus goes forward” … smiles.

    3) Augustana and “Boston” … I know I listened to this before when you had put it up. It sometimes seems nice to disappear to a place and start over. My favorite line is, “I think I’d like some sun rises. I’m tired of the sunsets.” … I think that was it…it is …it is filled with symbolism.

    4) Alex Clare and his singing of “Too Close” … omg…the voice coming out of the young man sooo does not match his face! It sounds a lot like American Blues/Gospel/Soul to me. I can just imagine him singing in a pub … people not knowing what to expect, and…as his gets finished with this piece, the entire place erupting.

    5) As for “Landfill”, by Daughter … I remember when you first posted this. I thought then, what a beautiful voice … but the song is so filled with pain. I cannot believe that she wrote that without having gone through torturous pain …

Ahhh Andrea … the music you choose is beautiful … some have hope in them … some are filled with pain. I just want to give you a hug.
