I am sorry to confess that
I will make mistakes,
I will fall short,
I may even hurt you.

But I can promise you this,
I will love you with all I have,
I will always strive to lift you up,
I will admit to my shortcomings and
I will make the wrongs right whenever I can…

But most of all I will never, NEVER hurt you on purpose.

So do not hide your heart from me,
do not with-hold yourself,
please…

instead just take my hand,
come walk with me,
and share this thing,
that we call love.
